Consumers also receive one of the industry’s most comprehensive vehicle condition reports, clearly showing what was repaired, what was replaced, and how much the dealer invested to bring the vehicle up to Trusted standards. Each vehicle also includes a dealer-paid limited warranty for added peace of mind.
Just as CarFax became the standard for understanding a vehicle’s history, Trusted.Sale is setting the standard for proving a vehicle’s present condition.

The “Trusted Sale CPO Program” creates a turnkey system for retail auto dealers to qualify, certify and merchandise their used inventory by following Trusted’s rigorous reconditioning standards. The program uses a technology-enabled platform and quality assurance managed services to assure vehicles meet or exceed strict standards for reconditioning used vehicles and providing consumers with unparalleled levels of transparency into what was repaired or replaced and the dealer’s investment to assure the vehicle is in compliance with Trusted standards.
While primarily used to certify “off-brand” vehicles, the platform is also used by franchise dealers as a sales tool that is “layered on top” of their OEM’s CPO program. And, independent dealers use the platform to certify vehicles across multiple manufacturers’ makes and models.
For over four decades, I’ve served in a variety of capacities as a manager, contractor, consultant, paid expert, corporate executive, business owner, shareholder, board member/director, strategic partner, mentor, and volunteer, and served in such diverse industries as insurance and financial services, consumer goods, enterprise telecommunications, healthcare technology and retail automotive dealerships.
I’m probably most accurately described as a serial entrepreneur with an insatiable appetite to invent: to build something from nothing and to build something that solves real problems and generates real profits. But to know me at my core, is to know that I am obsessed with marketing and sales optimization. How can we remove friction from the buyer or owner journey? How can we build delightful, unexpected experiences along various customer touchpoints? How can we test… everything to do with our marketing and optimize experiences that deliver the right message(product/service) to the right customer at the right time.
When I’m not building and optimizing, you’ll likely find me either playing piano or bass guitar or throwing spears in the air (I’m a track and field athlete competing in men’s javelin) or turning my house into the haunted house for Halloween.
But my most proud role has been as a husband for over 35 years and father to three incredibly talented and giving sons, and in my newest role as grandfather to two beautiful granddaughters.
